The New York Knicks received some encouraging news as they prepare to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

Josh Hart was the hero of Game 1 that led to New York taking an early series lead over the Cavs. However, he also injured his ankle in the closing minutes of the game. It was a clear ankle roll and Hart was in obvious pain after it happened.

He was originally listed as doubtful on Monday with his availability in serious question. Early on Tuesday, he was upgraded to questionable, and ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that he is expected to play on Tuesday night.

Hart was the clear MVP in Game 1 and finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds in 32 minutes of play. These minutes came in crucial as Jalen Brunson got into early foul trouble and only played nine minutes in the first half.

This presents a challenge for the Cavs with Hart's ability to grab rebounds. Offensive rebounds were a huge talking point after Game 1 as Cleveland struggled in this department with big men such as Mitchell Robinson and Isaiah Hartenstein on the floor. Hart playing only makes that task even more difficult.

The Cavs will need to figure out a way to limit Hart when he's on the floor if they have any hope of tying this series up.
