Max Strus' Final Injury Status For Cavs-Bulls
The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to fight through injuries. The only player in the starting lineup who hasn't missed a game leading up to Monday night was Max Strus. However, he's now dealing with his own injury.
Strus was pulled just six minutes into Cleveand's victory over the Brooklyn Nets in Paris as he fought through knee soreness. This was something that put his availability for Monday night's game against the Chicago Bulls in jeopardy.
The team announced that Strus will be available against the Bulls and he is slotted into his normal spot in the starting lineup.
Strus did partake in the morning shoot around in the morning and went through his normal pregame routine. His knee was apparently healthy enough to give it a go against Chicago.
This injury actually isn't something new for Strus. Cavaliers head coach J.B. Bickerstaff said that the knee soreness is something that has been bothering him for some time now. Bickerstaff acknowledged that Strus wants to play as much as he can be the team wants to "save him from himself" which is why he did not return against the Nets.
Hopefully, this is not an injury that lingers much longer for Strus and he can continue to play though it. The sharpshooter has played a crucial part in the team's recent success despite injuries to Darius Garland and Evan Mobley.
