The Kevin Love saga may be drawing to a close in Cleveland ahead of Thursday's trade deadline.

Reports indicate that opposing teams have expressed interest in trading for Love and that he will "undoubtedly" be a name to watch in the coming days.

It would make some sense that other teams have checked in on Love. He is currently out of Cleveland's rotation and has championship experience that could be valuable to a team. He's also on an expiring contract which means if a team trades for him then they won't need to worry about his contract beyond the season.

However, these reasons also point to why the Cavs may hold on to Love too. His veteran presence is vital for a young team going through playoff expectations for the first time such as this Cavs team. Love also has a massive contract so sending that out means Clevland would need to take a large cap hold in return.

It's unlikely a team would give up another expiring contract for K-Love.

While it would be sad to see Love's time in Cleveland come to an end, it would make sense from the business perspective of the NBA. Love helped the city of Cleveland return to glory by winning the 2016 NBA Finals and he will always be remembered for all the good he did.
