To say the Cleveland Cavaliers have started the post-All-Star break stretch of games on the wrong foot is more than an understatement. They've dropped their first two games back and they've been pretty ugly losses as that.

They lost the first game to the Denver Nuggets in a contest that came down to the wire. The next day they were run out of the gym by the Atlanta Hawks who carved up the highest-ranked defense in the NBA.

Out of the things that have gone wrong for the Cavs, the most concerning aspect is how cold the team has gone from the field.

Cleveland's game against the Nuggets was the closest game of the two but the shooting in this one was the worst. As a team, the Cavs shot 23 percent from three and 48 percent from the field.

The biggest problem in this game was Cleveland's inability to close it out.

The Cavs were slightly better against the Hawks as they shot 45 percent from the field and 37 percent from three. The majority of that production came from Darius Garland who went 4-for-8 from behind the arc.

Outside of his four threes, the Cavs only went 11-for-27 more. Donovan Mitchell himself shot a miserable 2-for-10 from three.

Cleveland needs to figure out a way to get back on track from the field as soon as possible. They still have a stretch of games against tough competition and if they can't fix their shot they have a serious risk of falling back into the play-in tournament.
