Jaylen Brown generated 17 points, seven rebounds, six assists, a steal, and a block in the Boston Celtics' 104-92 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday.

He also did well against Zion Williamson, meeting the challenge with force and physicality. His execution in that role helped limit the former first-overall pick to 25 points. He also committed four turnovers and went 4/11, producing only 13 points in the final 36 minutes.

The Marietta, Georgia native also had a pair of injury scares, first slipping on a wet spot, causing him to reach for his right knee, before staying in the game.

Later, after stripping Williamson, again losing his footing on the slippery surface at the Smoothie King Center, on the heels of a missed layup that Derrick White cleaned up, Brown reached toward his left wrist. Again, he stayed on the floor.

After the victory, the two-time All-Star conveyed, "I'm alright. (I) had a little back tightness, but outside of that, I'm good."

But while he said his right knee is also fine, Brown shared that he'll get his left hand looked at.

"I'm gonna get that looked at when we get back to Boston. But it's been bothering me for a little bit now."

Before returning home, the Celtics cap their six-game road trip with a Monday night matchup against the Charlotte Hornets. Brown's status on the injury report for that contest warrants monitoring.
