Friday night at TD Garden, the Boston Celtics bounced back from two-straight losses, earning a 121-107 win against the Brooklyn Nets.

Jaylen Brown, who had a game-high 28 points, and Jayson Tatum, who registered 23, combined for 51 in the victory in the hosts' first matchup of the NBA's inaugural in-season tournament.

With that tilt representing the front end of Boston's first back-to-back of the 2023-24 campaign, Al Horford did not suit up. While that differs from last season's approach of him missing the second contest when the C's played two straight, the former Florida Gator is off the injury report and will return Saturday night against the Toronto Raptors.

Friday, Kristaps Porzingis, a seven-foot-three center with a lengthy injury history and who dealt with plantar fasciitis this offseason, told Inside The Celtics he's available for both halves of these back-to-back tilts. The former All-Star is also absent from Boston's injury report and active for Saturday's showdown.

The only player the Celtics listed is center Neemias Queta. The 24-year-old from Portugal will miss his seventh-straight game as he works his way back from lingering soreness in his right foot.

Saturday night's game between Boston and Toronto will tip-off at 7:00 EST at TD Garden. Inside The Celtics will have content related to the matchup before, during, and afterward. Follow @BobbyKrivitsky on Twitter for updates and analysis from pregame to post.
