Jaylen Brown Explains Mentality After Dominant Performance vs. Washington Wizards
The Boston Celtics took a dominant 126-107 victory over the Washington Wizards, extending their winning streak to three. Jaylen Brown, Boston’s leading scorer, registered 36 points, six rebounds, three steals, and two assists over 32 minutes.
At the end of the third quarter, the Celtics were leading 108-75. Brown and Jayson Tatum, who combined for 69 points, were benched for the remaining 12 minutes of play.
As captured by NBC Sports Boston, Brown would like the Celtics to continue their full-effort mentality throughout the season.
“It’s tough being talented because it invites laziness. It invites complacency. That’s going to be our enemy this season. It’s going to be us versus us. Our leaders on the team, we gotta make sure that… we run through the finish line.”
The Celtics’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, November 1, against the Indiana Pacers at TD Garden.
