The Boston Celtics defeated the Raptors 108-105 in Toronto on Friday night. It's their fifth-straight win. With it, they improve to 2-0 in Group C of the NBA's In-Season Tournament.

The Raptors, one of the best fourth-quarter teams in the league, gave the visitors a tough battle and had an opportunity for an upset.

But Boston twice found Kristaps Porzingis in the paint to tie the game. Derrick White kept up his clutch shooting, nailing a three in the corner to give the Celtics back the lead with under 30 seconds to go.

Boston Celtics guard Derrick White (9) shoots a three over Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam (43) in the fourth quarter at Scotiabank Arena.

Jaylen Brown continued his hot play with a crucial lefty finish. He finished with 23 points, matching Pascal Siakam and Dennis Schroder for the most in the matchup. The two-time All-Star made 9-14 shots, including three from beyond the arc.

Brown slipped many times on Toronto's In-Season tournament court throughout the night. His last one was in the final seconds of the fourth quarter. He then walked gingerly to the bench. Al Horford finished the contest in his place.

After the win, the All-NBA Second Team selection stated about the court, which he said was slippery throughout the matchup, "Tonight, I thought the floor was kind of unacceptable," per Aaron Rose of All Raptors.

Rose also reported that Toronto's Precious Achiuwa agreed with the Celtics' star.

On NBC Sports Boston's post-game show, Tom Giles stated that Joe Mazzulla said Brown told him he was ok.

The Celtics will now head to Memphis to face the Grizzlies on Sunday night, who have just lost Marcus Smart due to a left ankle injury. Tomorrow's injury report will provide an update on the Atlanta, Georgia, native as Boston aims for its sixth-straight win.
