On Monday night, Shams Charania reported that league sources had informed him that Jaylen Brown was "seriously considering" participating in the Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star Weekend.

It came to fruition the following evening, as Chris Haynes and Charania had announced that the three-time All-Star was expected to join the competition.

Brown will accompany reigning champ Mac McClung, Jacob Toppin, and Jaime Jaquez Jr.

Brown, 27, has had a plethora of posters this season, adding to the long list in his career, including a loud one on former Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert. He should be a favorable candidate to win the contest. league sources had informed him that Jaylen Brown was "seriously considering" participating in the Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star Weekend.
