On Sunday, the Boston Celtics picked up a 140-88 victory against the Golden State Warriors. Jaylen Brown scored a game-high 29 points in Boston’s dominant performance.

Throughout the match, Draymond Green decided not to guard Brown from outside the perimeter. This prompted the three-time All-Star to take 10 shots from three-point range, 50-percent of which were successful.

Per Inside The Celtics, Brown felt disrespected by the lack of coverage from three-point range.

“First time it’s ever happened to me. Honestly, I was a bit surprised… For the most part, my job is to get to the paint. We got enough three-point shooters on our team… but if you want to dare me to shoot, we can do that too. I thought it was a little disrespectful but we took advantage of it and didn’t look back.”

When asked if the Warriors’ defensive approach fired him up, Brown also said "I guess that's kind of fair to say. Obviously, it caught me and everybody by surprise. Maybe it was some type of mind game that they were trying to play."

Boston's next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, against the Cleveland Cavaliers at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse; tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. EST.
