Neemias Queta had an impressive performance during the Boston Celtics’ latest preseason against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Portuguese-born center registered 10 points, three rebounds, and two assists over eight minutes.

The 24-year-old is currently signed to a two-way deal with the Celtics. In this role, Queta will be eligible to appear in 50 regular season games.

When asked whether Queta has earned the opportunity to play with and against starters, Joe Mazzulla conveyed the following to Inside The Celtics.

"I haven't thought ahead to the next preseason game yet, but he has. He's earned minutes. He's earned opportunity. He's done everything we've asked him to do, and he's come in every day, and he's worked. And I really like how he's gotten better and better each time he's been on the floor. So, we're excited that we have an opportunity to develop him. And over these next two preseason games, it's definitely a goal to see: can he continue to get better? Can he continue to execute on both ends?"

Boston’s next preseason game is set for October 17th at 7:30 p.m. EST against the New York Knicks.
