The Boston Celtics bounced back after their slip-up against the Charlotte Hornets, earning a crucial win over the Milwaukee Bucks, 119-116 at TD Garden.

The Celtics, now 6-0 at home, were up double-digits and in control for most of the game, but a huge run for the Bucks in the final minutes made it interesting. Boston got a little sloppy again.

It didn't help that Kristaps Porzingis was in foul trouble. The seven-foot-three center also received his eighth technical.

Milwaukee's 19 second-chance points were another crucial component to the visitors clawing back into the contest. They lingered around, but the hosts put it away as Jayson Tatum iced the game at the line after Damian Lillard missed at the rim, with Derrick White getting a piece of his dunk attempt.

Jaylen Brown responded forcefully after struggling in Charlotte. That included him setting the tone offensively for Boston, as the C's jumped out to a 10-0 lead, with him generating eight of those.

The two-time All-Star finished with 26 points on 10-16 shooting, including faring 3-5 from three. He also registered eight assists and two rebounds.

Five of those dimes were to Porzingis, as he and Brown continued cultivating their high-level of chemistry. Their cohesion may have been on display more on Wednesday than in any matchup this season.

Following the win, Porzingis spoke about his chemistry with Brown.

"Yeah, I absolutely love playing with JB," he said. "I think we're starting to connect more and more, and it's becoming just natural for us."

Boston's new center knows the sky is the limit for these two, emphasizing how much room for growth there is.

"I'm learning his game," the seven-footer stated. "I'm learning his game; I'm learning the situations he likes to be in. And as you can see, we're having some success with it; you know, it's really fun."

He has continuously shown how much he loves to play with Brown, and the two seem like a match made in heaven.

"It's really fun to play with him, and I look forward to more of those plays, expressed Porzingis.

The Celtics look to gain momentum toward another win streak in their third In-Season Tournament game Friday afternoon against the red-hot Orlando Magic in Orlando.
