The Boston Celtics suffered a disappointing 116-115 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Celtics went on a 32-17 run in the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime, but ultimately fell short.

Al Horford registered 10 points, seven rebounds, and four assists over 38 minutes. The veteran big man spoke to NBC Sports Boston about the fourth quarter comeback.

“That was quite a comeback, and then we were really close. So I'm pretty encouraged with our group and with the focus that we played. We knew we were going to get their best shot today. And they put it out there. We were able to withstand it and just weren’t able to close the game. But I’m pretty proud of our group and how we responded today.”

Horford remained positive about the overtime loss.

“I know that everybody’s feeling down; we lost the game but I’m pretty encouraged by our group. I saw something. I saw some growth in our group, things we haven’t been able to do all year. And to be able to do them tonight on this type of stage, I’m very encouraged for our group.”

Game 5 of the Celtics-76ers series is scheduled for Tuesday night at 7:30 pm.
