Boston will be back in action Wednesday vs. the 76ers
Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

The Boston Celtics may not be at full strength Wednesday night, but they are starting to get pretty close.

Boston has been without the services of starting point guard Marcus Smart for the last seven games and he will be sidelined once again Tuesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Celtics did get some good news ahead of Tuesday's tilt though and likely will have star guard Jaylen Brown back in the lineup as well as center Luke Kornet, according to the club's injury report.

Boston also likely will have Robert Williams in the lineup who was questionable for the game initially as he deals with a left ankle sprain.

The Celtics are looking for their second straight win after taking down the Detroit Pistons on Monday night. Jayson Tatum and Derrick White shined in the Boston win combining to score 57 points in the big win.

Philadelphia enters the tilt after suffering a loss against the New York Knicks on Sunday but has won two of its last three games entering the showdown.

The Celtics and 76ers will tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET from TD Garden on Wednesday night.

Update: Boston has upgraded Jaylen Brown and Luke Kornet to available.

However, the Celtics have also declared Robert Williams and Al Horford out after the two tested their respective ailments pregame.
