As the Celtics renew their quest for Banner 18, the offseason's days are dwindling. Monday marks media day, with training camp starting on Tuesday.

There could be a Jrue Holiday-sized addition to the roster. But as previously detailed, no matter what package it's offering, the cost for Boston to acquire the five-time All-Defensive team selection is steep.

Even if the two-time All-Star, who's more impactful off the ball, is donning Kelly green this season, Jayson Tatum figures to spend considerable time at point guard. It's a responsibility the latter's been preparing for this summer.

The two-time All-NBA First Team member also utilized the offseason to weigh whether he should get surgery on his non-shooting wrist, per ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

But after meeting with multiple specialists, Tatum opted against it, getting a cortisone shot instead. After doing so, the four-time All-Star told Shelburne his wrist "feels really good."
