Late in the fourth quarter of the Celtics' 130-122 loss to the Hawks in Game 3 of their first-round matchup, Marcus Smart took a nasty fall after going up for a rebound, landing squarely on his lower back.

Saturday, Smart, who finished with 24 points, a team-best eight assists, and matched Jaylen Brown for a game-high three steals, expressed the following about the soreness he's dealing with, which he said is in the same spot as after a hard fall that occurred during the regular season.

"I’m OK, relatively speaking; a little bit sore today. We'll see how I feel tomorrow. Not really sure where we're at right now with playing, but we'll see."

While Boston could be without its floor general for Game 4, the backcourt happens to be where the Celtics have the most depth. They can take comfort in knowing they'll lean on Derrick White and newly crowned Sixth Man of the Year Malcolm Brogdon if Smart doesn't play on Sunday.
