Kyrie Irving is on the move yet again.

The former Boston Celtics point guard recently shocked the basketball world with a sudden trade request and the Brooklyn Nets reportedly obliged Sunday afternoon and dealt Irving to the Dallas Mavericks for Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith, and multiple draft picks, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Dallas' acquisition of the polarizing point guard immediately had an impact on how Las Vegas viewed the Mavericks' title chances. Before the blockbuster, Sports Illustrated Sportsbook set the Mavericks' championship odds at a whopping +3300, but the odds have significantly tightened and now sit at +1200.

Unlike the Mavericks, the Nets' title chances have gone in the opposite direction on Sports Illustrated Sportsbook. Before the big trade Brooklyn's odds were set at +800 but now have dropped to +1900.

The Celtics -- who have the NBA's best record at 37-16 -- currently are the favorite to take home the 2022-23 NBA championship with odds set at +275 on Sports Illustrated Sportsbook.

The NBA Trade Deadline is set to pass on Feb. 9, so maybe the Nets' trade of Irving will be the first domino to trigger a trade avalanche.
