Ahead of the Celtics' 109-94 loss to the Knicks at Madison Square Garden Monday night, Joe Mazzulla gave an update on Jaylen Brown, who missed the game for personal reasons.

Boston's head coach stated the two-time All-Star, who registered a team-high 26 points, pairing it with four rebounds, three assists, and three steals in Saturday's 110-107 win over the Sixers, will rejoin the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers at TD Garden.

However, the Celtics may be without trade-deadline acquisition Mike Muscala, who's listed as questionable on Boston's injury report due to right knee tendinopathy.

Muscala's averaging 10.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in four appearances with the Celtics. He's shooting 40 percent from beyond the arc on 6.3 long-range attempts.

Boston dropped its first two tilts with Cleveland, both games that required overtime.

Wednesday's matchup tips off at 7:30 pm EST. Inside The Celtics will have content related to the game before, during, and afterward. And follow @BobbyKrivitsky on Twitter for updates and analysis from pregame to post.

Update: Mike Muscala is available for Wednesday's tilt against the Cavaliers.
