One of the big questions in the mind of every NBA fan is the retirement of LeBron James. While James is 39 years old, he isn't playing like a man that's going to retire soon. On Sunday night, he teased that may be considering retirement soon.

Much of today's NBA conversation has been centered around James' potential retirement comments. During an episode of Run it Back, former Clippers and Lakers star Lou Williams spoke about James' retirement. While many believe LeBron James won't retire until Bronny James arrives in the NBA, Lou believes there's a chance LeBron will retire before then.

"I'm buying it," Lou Williams said. "Father time is undefeated. This thing is a day-by-day thing, and he's 40-years-old. He had 40 points last night. When you wake up that next morning, your body tells you a different story. Years ago, even up to recently, he's still saying he wants to play with his son, he wants to play with Bronny. But now, I think he's starting to make business decisions for LeBron James based on how his body feels."

Make no mistake, LeBron James isn't slowing down at all as an NBA player. Lou Williams knows that LeBron just dropped 40 points yesterday. The part that fans don't see though, is the preparation it may take LeBron between games.

"To me, it looks he's still playing at a high clip, still playing at a high level, and can contribute at a high clip for years to come, but who knows what he's going through between those games," Williams said. "When I was with Kobe Bryant at the end of his career, I've seen this man with at least 6 to 7 ice bags on every game, and the preparation that it takes to get ready to go out there and play a game when you're at that age, it gotta be taxing and it's a lot of preparation."

While this likely won't be the final season of LeBron James' career, one would have to believe the end is coming within the next year or two.
