Jamal Murray's Injury Status for Denver Nuggets vs. LA Clippers
The Denver Nuggets are in Los Angeles on Thursday night to face the LA Clippers, and star guard Jamal Murray is being listed as questionable on the injury report with right knee inflammation. Murray has been dealing with different lower body injuries this season, and has missed the last six games for Denver.
While Murray has not been in the lineup for the Nuggets over the last two weeks, there is optimism that he will be good to go before the playoffs begin. Whether or not his return will come on Thursday night against the Clippers remains to be seen, as for now he is being listed as questionable.
This is a big game for both teams, as the Nuggets are trying to regain sole possession of the 1st seed, while the Clippers are trying to hold onto the 4th seed. Kawhi Leonard is out for the Clippers, which certainly removes a lot of the intrigue from what many feel could be a Western Conference Finals preview.
The Clippers were at one point very much in the race for the 1st seed with Minneota, Denver, and OKC, but their struggles over the last several weeks have essentially locked them into no higher than the 4th seed. The Dallas Mavericks remain in pursuit of that spot, so the Clippers will have to hold them off in the final two weeks of the season.
