Kawhi Leonard's Injury Status vs. Phoenix Suns Revealed
The LA Clippers are facing the Phoenix Suns again on Wednesday night after defeating them in Phoenix on Tuesday. This game will be played in Los Angeles, but without a lot of the star power this matchup would usually feature.
The Clippers have released their injury report for this game, and Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out for the sixth-straight game with right knee inflammation. The Clippers will also be without Paul George and James Harden, as the two stars have also been ruled out.
As previously mentioned, this is the second night of a back-to-back for the Clippers, but neither Leonard or Harden played on Tuesday. George did play, and was big in the victory, and is now getting a game off on the second night of a back-to-back.
The Clippers clinched a Playoff spot with their win on Tuesday night, and while they have not yet officially clinched the fourth seed, their magic number to do so is just one. This game is a lot more important to Phoenix than it is to the Clippers, and the injury report reflects that.
Looking to enter the playoffs fully healthy, the Clippers have done well to take care of business recently and put themselves in position to rest their stars for certain games down the stretch of the regular season.
