Despite being without Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Ivica Zubac, and Norman Powell, the LA Clippers pushed the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night, leading with under seven minutes to go in the game. While LA was unable to hold on and get the win, it was an impressive showing from their depth, as they forced Phoenix to play their stars heavy minutes on the second night of a back-to-back.

Speaking with reporters after the game, Suns star Kevin Durant was asked about the importance of this game, saying, "A win is a win. At this time of the year, you just try to win games regardless of context involved you are just trying to win games."

On his game, Durant added, "Just being able to initiate a little bit more. Being able to dribble and get my rhythm. I was just shooting all threes in the first half. You know what I’m saying, that’s not my game. I can knock down the catch and shoot, but I think I put more pressure if I can get in the paint, handle, get in the post. Just be able to kill the game a little and I think I was able to do that a bit more in the second half. I shot better and we played better on offense."
