Shaquille O'Neal had some words for Westbrook.

In the eyes of NBA players, Russell Westbrook is one of the most beloved players in the league. Whether it be from a current player or even an NBA Legend, players love Westbrook - including Shaquille O'Neal.

During an episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq, the NBA Legend spoke about Westbrook and how he wants to see the guard win a championship.

"Russ Westbrook, yeah, a hell of a guy, great player," Shaq said. "Unfortunately, we live in a world where you can be great individually, but for some people, a large amount of people, if you don’t have that championship, they question your greatness. I would like him to be a bus driver in a championship."

The ironic thing about Shaq's statement is that he's one of those exact people that criticizes other player's greatness for not winning an NBA Championship. Time after time, he jokes with Charles Barkley about never winning a ring, and jokes that other players don't have "G-14 Classification."

Still, there are some truths to both sides of the argument. Winning is the end all, be all, for most NBA players. The reason why they're playing the game is to compete and win an NBA Championship. Most players would trade their accolades for a chance at being a bus driver for a ring.

Hopefully, the LA Clippers can finally give Paul George, James Harden, and Russell Westbrook a chance at realizing that dream.
