LA Clippers star Paul George missed Sunday's game vs. the Sacramento Kings due to left knee soreness, and has again been ruled out for Wednesday's game vs. LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Speaking with the media before Tuesday's practice, Clippers head coach Ty Lue said George would not practice with the team, and will not play vs. the Lakers.

When asked about George's injury, Lue simply answered, "He's hurt."

While George did not practice with the team on Tuesday, he was out on the court prior to practice getting shots up, which at least means he is able to do some on-court work while dealing with knee soreness.

When speaking with the media prior to Sunday's game vs. the Kings, the first one that George missed with this injury, Lue said it was something the Clippers star had been playing through. Having struggled for several weeks, George hasn't been himself recently, which could be due to this lingering knee soreness.

George is averaging 17.2 PPG on 41.3% from the field and 30.6% from deep in his last 14 games, which is well below his season averages. The Clippers want to make sure he is fully healthy before returning him to game action, and will have to make up his production elsewhere.

The Clippers and Lakers will begin at 7:00 PM PST on Wednesday night.
