The Minnesota Timberwolves are hosting the LA Clippers on Sunday afternoon, and star guard Anthony Edwards has been upgraded on their injury report from questionable to available.

Edwards was initially listed on the injury report as questionable with left ankle soreness, but has since been upgraded to available. This is a huge game for both teams, as just three games separate LA and Minnesota in the Western Conference standings. If the Timberwolves win this game, they move to 3-0 on the season against the Clippers, and would win the season series.

In order to chase down Minnesota in the standings, the Clippers almost certainly have to win their remaining two matchups against them. While strange things can happen, falling four back of the Timberwolves without the tiebreaker would make it nearly impossible for the Clippers to overtake them in the remaining month and a half of games.

The Timberwolves have done nicely to maintain their spot atop the Western Conference for almost the entire season, proving a lot of critics wrong who thought they would come back down to earth. The Clippers have been one of the teams in pursuit of that top spot, and that pursuit continues on Sunday when they look to grab a win in Minnesota.

The Clippers and Timberwolves will begin at 12:30 PM PST.
