The James Harden situation in Philadelphia has taken an even more dramatic turn that no one expected. Harden absolutely slammed 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey during an Adidas press event in China.

Harden was asked by an individual in the crowd, "What do you think about the current team claiming to end trade talks and trying to bring you back to the team?" His answer was one that will absolutely shock fans with how candid it was.

“Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of," Harden said. "Let me say that again: Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of."

The original video was posted on the Chinese platform Weibo. Shortly after, Shams Charania posted an alternate video of Harden stating the same thing.

It's absolutely shocking to hear an NBA player be this candid about not wanting to return to a team that he's currently signed on. Throughout the off-season, multiple sources told AllClippers that Harden was furious with the Philadelphia 76ers. It was mentioned that he was furious about taking a pay cut last season, only to be left in the dark throughout this current off-season. There have been numerous reports by multiple outlets throughout the summer of Harden wanting to be traded to the Clippers, and it seems like based on his recent remarks, that hasn't changed.

It remains to be seen what the consequences of James Harden's consequences are to his shocking statement. One thing is for sure though, things are about to get very dramatic if they weren't already.
