The LA Clippers have desperately needed some athleticism and finishing at the rim. The team has Terance Mann, but they need another player with even more height that can comfortably play the four. Now, they have KJ Martin to fulfill that role, and he has to find a way to fit in.

KJ Martin spoke with Tomer Azarly of Clutchpoints where he gave a candid answer about how his role is going to change from being on the Rockets to being on the Clippers.

“I've seen them play small ball five and everything," Martin said. "I think I fit well. Obviously [Paul George and [Kawhi Leonard], they’re going to be Hall of Famers. Russ gets up and down the floor. So I feel like I'd be able to get up and down the floor with him and help PG and Kawhi get open shots and I'll feed off of them."

Martin played with a very inexperienced team in the Houston Rockets throughout his whole career. He's never had the chance to play with veterans or a winning team, but he believes that'll make his game better.

“For me it plays better, I think personally, playing with older guys, they’re more experienced," Martin said. "My dad played also as I grew up. [I've been] around the game and everything, so I feel like it’s gonna help me a lot. Just learning from the older guys and get some knowledge."

There are very few teams that will be more interesting to watch than the LA Clippers next season. They're very much in a spot of potentially winning the championship, or blowing everything up after this season. Hopefully, for Clipper fans, it's the first option.
