Behind a 41-point performance from Damian Lillard, the Milwaukee Bucks took down the LA Clippers on Monday night without Giannis Antetokounmpo. Speaking with reporters after the game, Lillard detailed what it was like seeing the Clippers adjust defensively after he got hot early.

"It was my typical experience for my career up until this point," Lillard said. "Where I’m coming out, I’m attacking, kind of getting what I want to get early in the game, and their adjustment is to run guys at me or trap or send a double team."

Lillard added, "It was familiar, so sometimes I attacked it and applied pressure to the double team so they didn’t think that they were just taking me out of the game."

Lillard also spoke on getting his teammates involved, and keeping them involved even while they were missing shots. Players like Bobby Portis, Patrick Beverley, and AJ Green all hit big shots down the stretch, and Lillard noted that he made it an emphasis to continue getting his teammates the ball throughout the game, even if they were missing shots, so they would have the confidence to take and make those big shots down the stretch.

Outscored 40-25 in the final frame, the Clippers did not have an encouraging showing in this one, and will look to bounce back when they face the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.
