As Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden maintains his trade request to the LA Clippers, everyone has been weighing in on what has become a messy situation. Appearing recently on No Chill with Gilbert Arenas, former 76ers guard Danny Green shared his thoughts on the Harden vs. Daryl Morey dynamic.

"I'm always gonna side with the player because I am a player," Green said. "But it's also that I don't think he's wrong. But if he was promised something... you should come through with that promise. Now with that being said, I do think that Daryl Morey is the guy that has the best interest at heart for James of anybody else in the league. I think that Daryl values his players a lot more than anybody else does - not just James... Anybody that tries to get a trade done with Daryl... he's going to ask for a lot because he values that guy, so he's not going to trade James for anything, he wants to get value in return... The Clippers are not gonna wanna do that, because they may not value the same."

Green said the Clippers also recognize they don't have to offer much, because Harden has given them some leverage with the nature of his trade request. It's an interesting situation, and one that Green spoke openly on.
