Injury Report: LA Clippers vs Portland Trail Blazers
After a horrifyingly embarrassing loss against a shorthanded Atlanta Hawks, the Clippers are now in a must-win situation against the shorthanded Portland Trail Blazers if they want to keep the 4th seed.
The LA Clippers have three players listed on their injury report: Terance Mann, Norman Powell, and Russell Westbrook. Terance Mann is questionable with a brand-new right shoulder strain, Norman Powell is questionable with a left lower leg contusion, and Russell Westbrook is out due to a left-hand fracture. Norman Powell was on crutches throughout the week but has now been seen practicing with the team. Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and James Harden are all listed as available against the Trail Blazers.
The Portland Trail Blazers have six players listed on their injury report: Malcolm Brogdon, Jerami Grant, Ashton Hagans, Shaedon Sharpe, Matisse Thybulle, and Robert Williams III. Malcolm Brogdon is out due to right elbow tendinitis, Jerami Grant is doubtful due to a right hamstring strain, Ashton Hagans is questionable due to a G League two-way, Shaedon Sharpe is out due to lower abdominal surgery, Matisse Thybulle is questionable due to right ankle soreness, and Robert Williams III is out due to a right knee ligament tear.
After all of the recent losses, the Clippers are now only half a game ahead of the New Orleans Pelicans for the fourth seed. A win tonight is absolutely critical to maintain homecourt.
