The LA Clippers are facing the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night, and star guard James Harden could make NBA history vs. his former team. Entering this game with 299 career games with at least 10 assists, Harden can become just the 14th player in NBA history to record 300 such games, and just the 4th active player to do so.

While Harden is know for being one of the greatest scorers in NBA history, his playmaking ability is also elite, and has continued to evolve over the years. Harden has 19 games with at least 10 assists this season, which is tied for the 6th most such games in the NBA.

Making NBA history in Houston would be nothing new for Harden, who spent nine seasons breaking records in a Rockets uniform. Harden's teammate Russell Westbrook, who was also with him in Houston for one season, is one of the other active players with at least 300 10-assist games. Westbrook ranks 9th all-time in this category with 405 such games.

The Clippers are scuffling a bit, having gone just 5-5 in their last 10 games. Looking to get back on track to end this road trip, the Clippers have the Rockets in Houston on Wednesday night before heading home to face the Chicago Bulls on Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles.
