After a historic performance vs. the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, LA Clippers star James Harden made history again on Saturday night vs. the New York Knicks. With his 7,161st career assist, Harden surpassed Terry Porter for sole possession of 17th place on the NBA’s all-time assists list.

Harden has been playing great for the Clippers over their winning streak, making plays for himself and others. Showing he can still score with the best of them on Thursday while Paul George was sidelined with an injury, Harden didn't need to score as much on Saturday night vs. the Knicks, but still did a great job setting his teammates up for easy baskets

Harden's play over the last several games has been a perfect example why the Clippers made the trade to bring him in. It was certainly an adjustment period getting Harden acclimated, but he and the Clippers have really started to take off over this wining streak.

Another product of Harden's presence has been easier baskets for Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Leonard has been especially good recently, and his clean looks from beyond the arc have been noticeable alongside Harden.

While Harden is not worried about individual stats or milestones, it is still always important to reflect on accomplishments like the ones Harden continues to reach in a Clippers uniform.
