Defeating the Detroit Lions in Sunday night's NFC Championship Game, the San Francisco 49ers advanced to the Super Bowl for a date with the Kansas City Chiefs. Following the game, LA Clippers guard and 49ers fan James Harden sent out this post on X (formerly known as Twitter):

While this game did not start off well for San Francisco, Detroit faltered in the second half, and the 49ers were able to take full advantage of their mistakes. Even despite Detroit's sloppiness in the second half, the Lions still had opportunities to win this game or at least force overtime, but some poor decision making and execution left the door open for the 49ers to put the game away.

Harden has been public about his 49ers fandom for a long time, and is excited to see them back in the Super Bowl. Helping lead his Clippers to the best record in basketball since December 1st, Harden certainly hopes to have similar postseason success to San Francisco's run to the Super Bowl.

This Super Bowl matchup between San Francisco and Kansas City should be a good one, as the two teams had to go through some tough battles to get to this point. For Harden, he will be pulling for his 49ers as they attempt the difficult feat of knocking off Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
