Going off for 35 points and 9 assists against the Indiana Pacers on Monday night, LA Clippers star James Harden reminded the world that he is still very much an elite player. While those who have been paying attention already knew this, different narratives about Harden and the Clippers grew loud during their early struggles following the trade, but an eight-game winning streak has since silenced the noise.

This seemed to be the underlying message behind what Harden shared following the game, sending out this post on X (formerly known as Twitter):

Harden has been one of the most heavily criticized players in the NBA the last year. One of the NBA's top-75 players ever, Harden's resume speaks for itself, but unfortunate circumstances with his last few teams have led to different conversations about who he is and what he's about at this point in his career.

Beginning to really bury this noise with the play of him and his team, Harden has been incredible over this winning streak, as have so many others on the Clippers. Winning cures everything, and as Harden said in his post following the game, "First they love you, then..."

It was a simple message from Harden, but one that reminded people he sees some of the noise, and remains motivated to continue being the player he knows he is.
