The LA Clippers have released their injury report for Thursday night's game vs. the Chicago Bulls, and star point guard James Harden was initially listed as questionable with a left shoulder strain, but has since been ruled out.

Harden spoke briefly about this shoulder issue following LA's loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday but added, "I'm straight."

Harden has yet to miss a game since joining the Clippers, but has now been on the injury report twice in the last three games with this shoulder issue. This game in Chicago is the front half of a back-to-back for the Clippers, with a big game against the New Orleans Pelicans coming on Friday.

A final status for Harden was revealed by Clippers head coach Ty Lue when he addressed the media prior to this game. Harden has been very durable for the Clippers, but the team also wants to make sure he is in peak condition entering the postseason, which is why they are keeping a close eye on his shoulder strain.

The Clippers have been scuffling a bit, just 5-5 in their last 10 games. LA's path to a top-three seed is complicated, and pretty unlikely at this point. That said, the Clippers also need to hold off the Pelicans, which adds a level of importance to each game between now and the end of the season.
