The Boston Celtics are facing the LA Clippers in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon, and star forward Jayson Tatum was initially listed as questionable with a left ankle sprain, but has now been upgraded to available. Tatum first injured his left ankle in Boston's loss to the Golden State Warriors, but was able to finish that game after hobbling back to the locker room.

The Celtics played the Sacramento Kings the day after that loss to Golden State, and Tatum did not play. Tatum finishing that game against the Warriors was a good sign that the ankle issue was not too serious, but he was forced to miss one game. That said, he is now good to go, and is available for this game against the Clippers.

Clippers star Kawhi Leonard was being listed as questionable for this game with a left hip contusion, and he has since been ruled out for the second time in as many games. This does limit the intrigue for what would otherwise be a very exciting and star-filled matchup at full strength, but there is still a lot of talent on both sides.

The Clippers have been playing much better of late, despite losing their nine-game winning streak on Thursday night against the OKC Thunder. Boston has remained solid all season, and is always a tough opponent.
