The Phoenix Suns just shocked the NBA world, agreeing to a trade with the Brooklyn Nets to acquire superstar forward Kevin Durant. The move caught everyone by surprise, including Kawhi Leonard who was just set to begin his postgame press conference after the LA Clippers lost to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night.

Asked for his reaction to the Durant news, Leonard said, "I was just told that before I walked in. I’m just focused on what we got to do."

It was a short answer for Leonard, who did not elaborate much on his thoughts about Kevin Durant reentering the Western Conference, but he admitted that his focus remains with the Clippers and what they're doing.

This is one of the biggest blockbuster trades in recent history, as the Phoenix Suns become serious contenders in the Western Conference after hanging around .500 for much of this year with Devin Booker sidelined. Now with Booker back, Phoenix makes a big swing to bring in one of the best players in the world.

The NBA's trade deadline will conclude at 3:00 PM EST on Thursday, but the biggest move of the year is already complete. Kevin Durant is now a member of the Phoenix Suns, giving them a big three with Durant, Booker, and Chris Paul. It hasn't been the best season for Paul, but now with one of the top scorers of all time at his side, his job becomes a lot easier.
