Kawhi Leonard's Updated Injury Status vs. Thunder Revealed /

Having played every single game so far this season, LA Clippers star Kawhi Leonard appeared on an injury report for the first time since last year's playoffs. The Clippers initially listed Leonard as questionable for Thursday night's game against the OKC Thunder with a left hip contusion, and he has since been ruled out.

Leonard took a fall late in Wednesday night's win over the Dallas Mavericks that was clearly bothering him. While there didn't seem to be any major concern from Leonard or head coach Ty Lue after the game, it makes sense for the Clippers to be cautious with their superstar forward on the second night of a back to back.

The fact that Leonard was initially listed as questionable as opposed to out is a good sign this injury is not major. While Leonard is forced to miss this game, it seems likely that he could be available when the Clippers take on the Boston Celtics in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Health has been on LA's side this season for the first time in years, and that has started with Leonard being available for every game. Currently amid a nine-game winning streak, the Clippers have been rolling, and health has played a major factor in that.

The Thunder are one of the best teams in basketball this season, and will present a real challenge for the Clippers without Leonard.
