The LA Clippers enter Dallas to face the Mavericks on Wednesday night with an eight-game winning streak. This is the longest active winning streak in the NBA, and it has helped the Clippers gain some serious ground in the Western Conference standings after their six-game losing streak that followed the James Harden trade.

One of those losses came in Dallas to the Mavericks, as Luka Doncic and others went off to bury the Clippers early. Doncic will again be available in this game, as he is not listed on the injury report for Dallas.

A nightmare for any team to defend, Doncic has been especially good against the Clippers throughout his career. While that has not always translated to wins, as Kawhi Leonard has often been equally as good, if not better than Doncic in some of these match ups, the Mavericks star is certainly a handful to deal with.

This will be a tough game for the Clippers to get, as they have both Paul George and Norman Powell listed as questionable with illnesses, but others have been stepping up throughout this winning streak outside of LA's main players. If George and/or Powell are unable to go, the Clippers will again have to look down their bench for contributions from players who may not always have big roles on a night to night basis.
