While LA Clippers president Lawrence Frank was adamant that the team is going to continue building around Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, some have suggested it is time for a fresh start in Los Angeles. With Leonard and George struggling to stay on the floor, the Clippers have been unable to build any real momentum towards a championship over the last two seasons. That said, trading one or both of their two stars this summer is something one NBA executive believes would not net any value in return.

Speaking with Steve Bulpett of Heavy Sports, an anonymous NBA executive said, "I'm not sure what [the Clippers] can do. They're not going to get value for those guys (Leonard, George) in any sort of deals. They just miss too many games, and that's ruined the culture. It's ruined the culture of the Clippers. Not knowing from night to night if you're going to have PG or Kawhi just killed them. They didn't know who was playing on any given night. It's a train wreck. They've got some really good character guys on their team, but the culture is bad."

Through four seasons as a duo, Leonard and George have played in just 41% of LA's games together (regular season and playoffs). Three of those seasons have ended with one or both of them injured, including the most recent playoff run that ended with both of them sidelined.
