Jerry West has one of the greatest minds in the history of basketball. His ability to analyze players is something many in the basketball world love to hear insight about; interviewers love to pick his brain because of the knowledge he has.

West was a guest on the Rich Eisen Show where he was asked about how the most underrated player is in the NBA - his answer, Kawhi Leonard.

"Being involved with the Clippers, people forget because he's been injured so much, how great Kawhi Leonard really is," West said. "This guy is the man. On both ends of the court. You watch film playing when he was really healthy all the time, and last year he had it going again really well last year. He's missed so many games with injuries, I think people forget about him."

West not only believes that Kawhi Leonard has become one of the most underrated players in the league, but he also believes the Clippers have become one of the most underrated teams.

"I look at these teams and people trying to talk about well this team should be favored," West said. "The Clipper team, not because I work there, this team has two elite players on both ends of the court. Very few teams can say that. I'm talking about Kawhi and Paul George."

It makes that analysts are starting to lose faith in the Clippers. Every year, no one has ever doubted their talent, but they've doubted their health. In four seasons, the Clippers have only had both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George available for a full playoff run one time. That says everything you need to know.
