The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the LA Clippers on Monday night without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton. The Bucks got a big game from Damian Lillard, who went for 41-points, but they also got big contributions from their role players.

One of the role players for Milwaukee who made a big impact was former Clippers guard Patrick Beverley, who finished with 12 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals, and 1 block. This was a classic Beverley game, who had his fingerprints all over the game.

Following the win, Beverley shared his trademark statement on X (formerly known as Twitter):

Beverley got the start for the Bucks in this game, and made a strong impact on both ends. James Harden, Norman Powell, and Kawhi Leonard went a combined 2/11 when defended by Beverley, per the NBA's matchup data.

Speaking with reporters after the game, Clippers head coach Ty Lue acknowledged that Beverley's defensive activity was disruptive early, as he was able to get up under LA's perimeter players to force turnovers and missed shots.

This is what Beverley does, as several players and coaches on the Clippers side know very well from their time with him. Playing for the Clippers from 2017-2021, Beverley was one of the biggest reasons they were able to turn their franchise around after the Lob City era.
