For a second straight season, the LA Clippers had an incredibly disappointed early season finish. For a fourth straight season, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard also failed to bring the franchise its first championship.

Paul George knows that he and Kawhi Leonard promised the franchise its first championship. He knows that both he and Kawhi Leonard have not lived up to expectations. This was supposed to be the deepest team in Clippers franchise history, but the team ultimately fell short yet again because of injuries. For that reason alone, Paul George wanted to apologize to Clippers fans.

In the newest episode of Podcast P, Paul George made sure to apologize to Clippers fans for the four years of failure.

"To the Clippers fans, we carry that burden. We gone get this s**t right at some point," George said.

While the Clippers have still never won a championship with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, they did still reach their first Conference Finals in franchise history. Two wins away from their first NBA Finals ever, the Clippers have definitely had their chances, but injury luck just hasn't been on their side.

It's hard to tell how many more years Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will remain Clippers. The time is ticking, and it's been three straight years of one of the two stars getting hurt in the playoffs. That's quite a big sample size, and at some point, a decision will have to be made.
