Before Paul George was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the possibility of him being dealt to the Los Angeles Lakers seemed like a real one. From Southern California, George was open to the idea of coming home, but he ultimately was dealt to OKC where he had the best season of his career.

Eventually coming home in 2019 in a trade to the LA Clippers, George quickly realized the Clippers vs. Lakers dynamic that exists in Los Angeles. Once highly coveted by Lakers fans, George now has bizarre interactions with them when out in LA, which he recently detailed on the latest episode of Podcast P, which is presented by Wave Sports and Entertainment.

"It's just funny to me, if I'm somewhere and they're like, you should be a Laker, or come to LA. And I'm like, bro what? We all LA at this point. Just support LA. So that sh-it do be interesting. The funniest sh-t was when I first got traded, and I went to Universal [Studios]. I'm there with the homies... That was the first time I heard, 'Come to the Lakers. You should've been a Laker.' I'm in LA, that's not good enough?"

George admitted that LA is a Lakers town, but he doesn't understand why Lakers fans have to make these comments when they see him in public.
