Putting on a show in Los Angeles last season, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry dropped 50 points against the LA Clippers. While the Warriors lost the game, and were unable to get much else outside of Curry, it was an incredible showing from the superstar point guard that even had his opponents impressed.

Recently speaking about this on the latest episode of Podcast P, which is presented by Wave Sports and Entertainment, Clippers star Paul George said, "He went off for 50 against us this season. But I thought I was going to lock him up that game. That was my assignment... Whatever our game plan was, we was scratching that sh-t by middle of the first quarter."

Known for breaking opposing defenses, Curry torched the Clippers after they thought they had a good game plan against him. George said his plan was to bother Curry with length, but that clearly did not work, as the superstar point guard dominated that game from start to finish.

As previously mentioned, the Clippers were able to secure a win despite that performance from Curry. This was shortly after the Clippers acquired Russell Westbrook, who made some big plays in that win. Fans were hopeful that LA and Golden State would have a chance to meet in the postseason, but their paths didn't cross again after that game.
