Rudy Gobert Gives Surprising James Harden Statement

Ever since leaving the Houston Rockets, James Harden hasn't been the type of player to receive his flowers. For the most part, he's highly criticized, and it's surprising when people actually speak well about him - that's exactly what Rudy Gobert did last night.
After the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the LA Clippers on Monday night, Rudy Gobert opened up about James Harden's impact on the Clippers.
"He’s been one of the main reasons why they’ve been so good," Gobert said about Harden. "I think he allowed this team to get another dimension, especially offensively. He’s a Hall of Famer for a reason. He’s a very unique player, and it’s always fun, it’s always a good challenge for us to compete against guys like that.”
When Harden was first traded to the Clippers, the team started off 0-5 and he received nothing but loud scrutiny from almost everyone. People were willing to immediately discard all of his past accomplishments and blame him for the Clippers' failures. It may have taken some time, but it's good to see that people are actually realizing just how good of an offensive player he actually is - even later in his career.
Despite the praise, James Harden and the Clippers can't be happy with the end result against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night. The team is slowly getting exposed more and more as one that struggles to go against any other teams with size.
