The LA Clippers have competed all of their trade deadline moves. The final outcome is Luke Kennard, Reggie Jackson, and John Wall on the move, with Eric Gordon, Bones Hyland, and Mason Plumlee coming in. It was a solid, but somewhat confusing deadline for the Clippers, who have still yet to address their point guard situation.

Having traded away both of their traditional point guards in Wall and Jackson, the Clippers have a vacancy at that spot. There are reports that the team is potentially in on Russell Westbrook should he secure a buyout with the Utah Jazz, which would be quite the development.

For now, the Clippers get a solid center in Mason Plumlee, a bench scorer in Eric Gordon, and a young guard with a lot of upside in Bones Hyland. It feels like a net positive for the Clippers at the deadline, but it is hard to make a concrete judgment without seeing how they plan to address their point guard situation.

The Clippers were widely expected to grab a point guard in the trade market, but perhaps the availability of Russell Westbrook changed things for them. If the team truly is interested, the fit would make sense for the veteran point guard, who would not have to move after having been with the Los Angeles Lakers.

While the trade deadline is over, the Clippers may still make moves in the buy out market.
