There are very few people on the planet that know LeBron James better than Clippers head coach Ty Lue. Lue coached LeBron from 2014-2018, and was a part of the historic 3-1 comeback against the Golden State Warriors. With that in mind, no one knows what LeBron is capable of and knows how to get a reaction out LeBron like Ty Lue.

Ty Lue was a guest on Showtime Basketball's 'All the Smoke' with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson where he told an incredible story about LeBron James.

"We were going to the locker room, so halftime they're getting out the film and I say 'nah we ain't do no film. I say Bron you gotta be better bro!"

LeBron didn't understand what Lue was saying, to which Lue doubled down, telling LeBron that his stats didn't matter - he needed more.

"'I don't care about no stats. Guard Draymond, be aggressive, shoot the ball, stop turning the ball over, anything else? We need you to be better if you want to win, it's on you,'" Lue said to LeBron. "I storm off, I go to the locker room, slam the door. Boom."

After that moment, Lue said that LeBron James became incensed. He went around asking Dahntay Jones and James Jones if they agreed with Lue, and only became more motivated once they agreed with their coach. The end result was LeBron James dominating the game and helping secure a win, Lue said in the story.

"I know how to get him going," Lue said. "Man, he can score 50 anytime he wants. I'm serious. 50. Anytime he wants. He just loves to play the game the right way, but sometimes playing the right way is man we need you to get 50."

LeBron James is a special type of talent that can do just about anything he wants on the basketball court. Teams can scheme for him, try to put their best defender, but he'll always find a way to succeed if he really wants to - that's what makes him one of the greatest players of all time.
