Here’s a look at what to expect from Sports Illustrated’s Clippers coverage.

Welcome to Clippers SI! Thank you for joining, and hopefully this can become one of your preferred destinations for all things Clippers. I'm Sabreena Merchant, and I'm here to help you enjoy this season as deeply as possible. 

To do that, Sports Illustrated has launched this site as a place where you can find a full range of coverage about the Clippers, including game previews and recaps, videos from the locker room and press conferences, in-depth analysis, and so much more. 

I started covering the Clippers last season when the direction of this team was unclear, and the possibilities were endless. The team has promised fresh starts before, but this time was a promise delivered. One year later, the Clippers have capitalized on that potential better than anyone could have possibly imagined. 

As I begin working here at Sports Illustrated, I'm also making a promise to cover this team in a way that matches its excellence on the court. I have been writing about basketball for a long time, dating back to when I was at Duke reporting on both the men’s and women’s teams. Since then, I have covered the NBA for SB Nation and Dime Magazine, as well as the WNBA for The Athletic and High Post Hoops. Writing about the NBA professionally is a dream come true. 

This is a group effort, so whatever you'd like to contribute to the discussion is equally important. Consider what you see on the home page so far a soft opening, a preview of sorts for what is yet to come.
