Miami Heat All-Star Bam Adebayo has the chance to win his second Olympic gold medal, with the 2024 Team USA roster reportedly being announced by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

However, not everyone is a fan of Adebayo making the cut, including sports personality Colin Cowherd. He recently made the point that if you remove all-time greats LeBron James and Stephen Curry from the equation, the team is weaker than anticipated, which he made clear by signaling out Adebayo.

"Take LeBron James and Steph Curry off this roster, yikes," Cowherd said on an episode of The Herd. "Bam Adebayo has once in his career averaged over 20 a game.”

While it's true Adebayo has crossed the 20-point mark once in seven seasons, he is averaging 19.3 points, 10.4 rebounds and 3.9 assists this season for the Heat. He has steadily improved each year since being drafted out of Kentucky in 2017. Among his accomplishments is being a three-time NBA All-Star and making All-Defensive second-team four times.

The rest of the Team USA will include Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry, LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers), Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns), Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics), Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers), Devin Booker (Suns), Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers), Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves), Jrue Holiday (Celtics), and Anthony Davis (Lakers).

The Heat return to action in the Play-In Tournament on Wednesday against Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers.
